The Quimper Pau line is back

Chalair had launched the Quimper/ Pau route in the winter of 2020, shortly after arriving on the Quimper Bretagne platform, which was a great success. Due to COVID, however, the line could not be renewed in 2021.

In 2022, Quimper Bretagne Airport will be the only airport in the Brittany region to offer a direct connection to the Pyrenean ski resorts.

Encompassing the school holidays in the Pau and Quimper areas, this direct connection more generally allows all Breton customers to fly in 1h40 to Pau and all the neighboring territories.

The estimated flight times are as follows:

Every Saturday from January 22 to February 26, 2022

Quimper > Pau

11h35 13h15

Pau > Quimper

14h00 15h40

Reservations are already open and available on the Chalair website www.chalair.eu, with travel agencies (physical or online), and also on the website www.airfrance.fr.
A shuttle service is available at Pau Airport to connect a total of 13 Pyrenean mountain stations (information and reservation at www.altibus.com).
On the occasion of this newline, N'PY, which brings together 7 of the best ski resorts in the Pyrenees (Gourette, La Pierre St Martin, Cauterets, Luz-Ardiden, Grand Tourmalet, Barèges, La Mongie), offers 6-day packages per person allowing unlimited access to the ski lifts valid in one of its stations (conditions on www.chalair.fr).

Finistair launches a new line Brest Bordeaux

In order to continue to expand its network of destinations and meet a marked need for business travel, a new line has been opened between Brest and Bordeaux since November 16.

The plane leaves Brest for Bordeaux on Tuesday at 7:00 am and on Thursday at 4:00 pm before returning to Brest from Bordeaux on Tuesday morning at 9:30 am and on Thursday evening at 6:30 pm. The flight time is 1h50.

For Loïc Andro, Managing Director of Finistair: The opening of the Brest-Bordeaux line comes at a time when several domestic airlines have been closed. However, with the economic recovery, the need for business travel is very real. By launching this direct line between Brest and Bordeaux, we are bringing two major economic activity areas of the Atlantic coast closer together and providing a response to the inter-regional mobility needs of business leaders.”
